About us & why IANONI
Fitzalan Direct is the exclusive UK supplier of IANONI padel rackets. We hold stock in the UK, ship from the UK, and sell direct to players, clubs and coaches.
Why we exist
Padel has grown faster in the UK than the equipment market has kept up with. Court numbers have multiplied, clubs are full, and a lot of people are playing week in and week out with a hire racket that does not suit them, because the alternative is spending well over a hundred pounds on a name they recognise from tennis.
We think that is a bad trade. A well-made carbon racket with a proper EVA core does not need to cost that much. What it needs is to be specified honestly, stocked in the UK so it arrives quickly, and explained clearly enough that you can tell whether it is right for you before you buy it.
Why IANONI
We are not going to pretend IANONI is a name you already know. It is not. So rather than ask you to take the brand on trust, here is what we can actually stand behind.
European manufacturing
The rackets are manufactured in Europe to specifications we can show you, using carbon fibre faces and EVA memory-flex foam cores, not injected filler.
Specifications, published
Head shape, weight, face material and core are listed for every model, and we say so plainly when a figure is not published rather than filling the gap with a guess.
We play them
Every model in the range is used on court before we list it. If a racket is uncomfortable to play with, we would rather not sell it than explain it away.
A UK point of contact
You buy from a UK company and deal with us directly, in the UK, under UK law. You are not chasing an overseas manufacturer through a marketplace seller account.
Buying direct
You will also find our rackets on the marketplaces, and you are welcome to buy them there. Buying here is usually better for both of us: it is the same stock from the same warehouse, but we can bundle balls and grips sensibly, answer a spec question properly, and put the margin into holding more stock rather than into fees.
Delivery is free on everything we sell, with no minimum order value. That is a straightforward saving against buying the same racket through a marketplace, where the postage is usually built into the price.
What we will not tell you
We will not tell you that a racket will improve your game by itself, because it will not. We will not describe a stiff 18K carbon frame as a beginner racket because it is the most expensive thing we sell. And where a racket is wrong for you, we would rather point you at a different model, or at nothing at all, than take the order and the return.
That approach runs through the whole site. The Racket Finder is built to tell you what fits, including telling you to spend less. The Learn hub is there to make you a better-informed buyer, not to funnel you into the priciest option.
